Amy’s Studio offers a variety of engaging events throughout the year that bring students and families together through music, learning, and community. Favorites include the Fall Feast, a fun potluck gathering for families to connect, and the Spring Showcase, a special spring music recital where students share their progress and talents. In addition to these seasonal highlights, the studio also hosts monthly events that keep students involved and inspired year-round. Students can enjoy exciting camps during Black Friday, Winter Break, and Spring Break, as well as memorable field trips and European Music History Tours for high school aged students that make music education interactive, enriching, and enjoyable.

Fall Feast

Family Centered Potluck and Exhibition

A delightful potluck celebration where students and families come together to share delicious dishes and showcase their talents! This vibrant event, typically held at the end of October or early November, features a variety of entertainment led by our talented students. Enjoy evening filled with great food, engaging performances, and a warm sense of community Don't miss out on this festive gathering!

Spring Showcase

A Spring Recital

A celebration of student talent featuring a series of recitals, each lasting approximately 45 minutes. This event provides students with a unique opportunity to practice public performance in a safe and supportive environment. Taking place on the last Saturday in April, the showcase also includes an engaging music pop quiz, exploring the rich world and culture of music between performances. Don't miss this chance to support our aspiring musicians!

Monthly Event

Playing Nertz is an engaging way to develop sight-reading skills. As students race to match cards quickly, the brain is challenged to process information rapidly, improving your ability to recognize notes and rhythms at a glance. This high-energy card game encourages you to focus on patterns and develop a keen sense of timing, which is essential for any musician. By incorporating Nertz into your practice routine, you can make sight-reading a fun and competitive experience, ultimately boosting your musical proficiency.

Music History Tours

Students of Amy's Studio are in for an amazing musical adventure with opportunities visit the Seattle Symphony! This inspiring experience will spark their passion for orchestral music. Plus, a thrilling two-week summer tour through Europe awaits, showcasing the rich cultural history of music. Each year has a different theme visiting different musical history hot spots such as Vienna, Prague, Leipzig and Paris. Each journey will be unforgettable and full of inspiration and motivation for students!
