Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for Parents

  • What safety measures are in place for students during the trip?

  • Student safety is our top priority. The tour is supervised by chaperones and staff, and we maintain a strict headcount at all times. There is a chaperone for every 4 students. Staff is not counted as chaperones. We have established protocols for emergencies and partner with reputable local organizations to ensure safe accommodations and transportation.

  • What is the expected cost of the trip, and what does it include?

  • The cost of the tour is $4,000. The cost covers round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations, meals, entrance fees to attractions, guided tours, and ground transportation. Optional expenses such as souvenirs, snacks and some meals may not be included—please refer to the detailed itinerary for specifics.

  • Will my child need a passport or visa?

  • A valid passport is required for travel to Europe. For U.S. citizens, most European countries do not require a visa for short-term visits, but please check current regulations as requirements can change. (This is true for all countries issuing a blue book passport.  If you do not have a blue book passport - green or red book, etc. please contact us.)  Please double check your expiration date, visas expiring inside of 6 months at the time of travel may not be deemed "valid."

  • How will dietary restrictions and allergies be handled?

  • After we receive your booking, you will be given forms to fill out for further information such as - Emergency contact information, allergies and any other information tour coordinators and chaperones should be aware of. (i.e. talking/yelling in your sleep, sleep walking, etc.)  We ask parents to provide information about any allergies or dietary restrictions in advance so that our tour organizers will coordinate with restaurants and hotels to accommodate these needs as best as possible.

  • What is the policy on student cell phones and contacting home?

  • Students may bring cell phones, but we encourage responsible use. Key chaperones and all staff will have unlimited e-sims and mobile hotspots will be available to students so they may contact home as they wish via internet based communication (i.e. what'sapp, fb messenger, google numbers, etc.) We will establish scheduled check-in times for students to communicate with parents on rest days and travel days.

  • Is travel insurance required?

  • Yes. Travel insurance will cover unexpected situations such as illness, injury, or trip cancellation. Please reach out if you would like suggestions on providers. Policy information can be shared in the paperwork issued after booking.

  • How will medical needs and medications be managed?

  • Parents should inform chaperones of any medical conditions or medications. Doctor's notes may be needed depending on the medication.  Not all countries allow the same medications, over the counter medicines or supplements as the US. Chaperones and staff will carry emergency contact information and assist with any health needs that arise during the trip. They will also be packing first aid kits at all times.

  • What is the behavioral expectation for students?

  • Students must adhere to a code of conduct that promotes respect, responsibility, and safety. Failure to follow the rules may result in being sent home at added cost to the parents.

  • What is the cancellation and refund policy?

  • Cancellation policies vary depending on our travel partners and airlines. We will provide detailed information about deadlines, refundable amounts, and procedures for canceling participation in the trip.
