The Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM) has created  a series of exams to celebrate and mark each student's effort and achievement.  These graded exams have been available in the United States since 1996 (the Academy has had a global focus since 1890.)

The exam curriculum is both rigorous and entertaining. With multiple choices available for each requirement, ABRSM strives to address a variety of likes, and dislikes, to make the exam process as enjoyable as possible.
